GOLDEN INFLUENCE
Simply Brass - Brass is mainly an alloy that consists of copper and zinc giving the metal a resemblance to gold. The golden tones offer a beautiful base of inspiration for this collection mixing modern creativity and antique influence.
If you have a nickel allergy, you are very unlikely to be allergic to brass since there is no nickel in it.
COPPER EFFECT
Classic Copper - Shiny, pink-orangy coloured copper was one of the earliest metals discovered. The Greeks and Romans made it into tools or adornments, and there are even historical details showing the application of copper to sterilize wounds and purify drinking water. One of the most important properties of copper is its ability to fight bacteria.
GREEN OBSESSION
Slow oxidation reaction on copper - It takes several weeks for the green reaction to form on the copper pieces using only household products (salt, vinegar, water). Each piece then gets sealed 2 to 3 times to protect the reaction. .
This reaction is an attempt to accelerate the effect of what naturally occurs to copper with time. It took more than 30 years for the Statue of Liberty to turn green.
MAGIA DEL FUEGO
Heat reaction on copper - This process explores the influence of fire on copper. The reddish tones and patterns depend on the preparation of the metal piece, its size, shape and thickness, and on the intensity and length of its exposure to heat. Once the final colour is set, each piece is sealed to protect the reaction.
The tones and patterns that appear on the metal are unpredictable and completely unique. The end result can never be repeated in exactly the same way.
