GENERAL CARE

CYMERA_20230123_163510.jpg

Try and store your jewellery in a dry place. Do not store your jewellery in a bathroom where it will be exposed to humidity.

  • Avoid water: Remove jewellery when showering or bathing. Do not swim in the sea and in chlorinated water.

  • Clean and dry your hands before handling your jewellery to remove oils and humidity.

  • Never expose jewellery to household cleaning products, especially bleach and highly reactive solutions.

  • Keeping jewellery in closed boxes and containers can help to limit the amount of moisture and oxygen that makes contact with it.

  • Consider storing your jewellery in an air-tight container such as a Ziploc bag when you’re not wearing it (particularly the pieces you very rarely wear).

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

DO NOT TRY AND CLEAN THE METAL.
It will remove the patina created by the natural reaction. There is already several layers of coating. Follow the General Care advice above to make sure the coating lasts.

Dark or green reation on my skin?

ADDITIONAL CARING TIPS

The coating might wear off very slowly with time, particularly on the parts of the jewellery that touches the skin. It might even cause green reaction on the skin. Do not worry, it is not harmful. It is due to the copper.

EASY SOLUTION:

To recreate a layer of protection between your skin and the metal, paint the part of the jewellery that touches your skin with a coat of clear nail polish. This way, you prevent the part of the jewelry that comes into contact with your skin from reacting. Ensure the nail polish is completely dry before wearing it.
